- We didn't write Magic Menu. We wrote Final Writer. Final Writer is a
- commercial product. My personal opinion (not necessarily SoftWood's
- opinion) is that as long as the commercial program was written within
- the guidelines, it's up to the Workbench hacks to behave. Our program
- behaves. In fact, thanks to the change in Final Writer's menu setup,
- it behaves better than it used to.
-
- The author of Magic Menu has fixed it...way back in August we received
- a beta version for internal testing that handled the new Final Writer
- menu system just fine. Unfortunately, the Magic Menu programmer felt
- that he wanted to make some other nifty enhancements to the program (I
- don't know what he planned) and _then_ release the new version. So,
- we all sit here waiting and waiting for one of the best Workbench
- hacks to finally make its arrival. *Sigh* It's a fact of life that
- we have no control over anyone else, including the Magic Menu
- programmer.
